I used to live in Blyth Street in Altona at west part of Melbourne. Walking down Pier Street, the beach is only 100 metres away from the town centre. Sun is shinning, sky is blue and the beach is so beautiful. There are a lot of seagulls on the beach most of the time, and sometimes you can see dozens of black swans, that is amazing. I went to the beach almost every nother day as my little Dominic loves the beach, we walked along the beach together, he liked to pick up seashells and play sand castle. It is very windy and freezing during winter but we simply love it.

Unlike other beaches in Melbourne, Altona beach is very clean and quiet, you won't see many people out there during the week as if it is my own beach.

I guess I fall in love with the beach in Altona.
